ARB Premium Recovery Kit

A winch is a tool that can be invaluable when you need it. If you're stuck in the snow, sand, or mud you can pull yourself out. If there's a tree down in the road one can use a winch and straps to easily move it. But all of these tasks require an anchor point for the winch. Most winches have a cable between 60 and 100 feet. 

The cable will be damaged if one wraps the cable around a tree and the hook to the cable. And just as important the tree will be killed. The force of the cable tightening on the tree is enough to dig into the top layer and prevent the tree from growing, and it will eventually die. 

One can purchase all the accessories necessary to compliment their winch separately, but the ARB Premium Recovery Kit provides a one stop shop and a discount.

Every item that is included in this kit lives up to the ARB name. Having a complete kit helps keep everything organized and easy to find. I would recommend purchasing your own gloves though. While the ones that come with the kit are leather and functional they may not be the correct size. They will do in a pinch and I keep them in the kit just to have a spare set. 

One thing I wish they would do is better mark which strap is for what purpose. The first time I opened the Kit I couldn't remember if the purple or orange strap was the snatch strap. Eveything else is quite self explanatory.
